Hello, I'm the Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Advisor @ Microsoft covering Health Plan, Provider, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Device Companies. Prior to coming to Microsoft, I spent 17+ years running Healthcare Research & Development, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Business Startup Organizations. The Healthcare and Life Sciences Indutry is experiencing tremendous change. In my role @ Microsoft, I have the unique opportunity to work across all domains. I would like to use this blog as a forum to share and exchange observations, opinions, ideas, and innovative concepts.

Healthcare 2.0 discussion, Monday November 5th, 12:00pm - 5:00pm, Microsoft Offices, Farmington, CT

Wanted to give people a heads up on a Healthcare Industry event I am sponsoring a Healthcare 2.0 discussion for November 5th in the Microsoft Offices in Farmington, CT.

Event Description:  Healthcare 2.0 Perspectives & Industry Impact - Blogs, Wikis, social networking, mashups, and RSS have become mainstream. Yet, their overall viable from a commercial Healthcare perspective is largely unrealized. This session will showcase current and future state themes, trends, and Microsoft tools/innovations that will help enable its implementation.

On the subject of Healthcare 2.0, I'm very interested in interests and opinions...let's start a dialog.   -Ben
